Pavement Assessment Long Island

We carefully evaluate each property to identify existing conditions. Understanding where you are allows you to develop a plan to get to where you want to be. We provide a financial analysis of both short- and long-term asset projections. Applying these projections to the goals and objectives of the portfolio allows us to develop the best possible plan.

Core Samples

Core samples are used to determine the condition of existing pavement. These samples give us insight to the thickness and bonding of the pavement layers, as well as information about the base material below. This is critical to fully understanding the existing conditions, allowing for proper planning of pavement management.

Pavement Ratings

Pavement rating systems give a numerical value to describe the pavement. The Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) and the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) scales provide an accurate way of reporting the existing conditions as well as forecasting future needs.

Mapping

Detailed maps with pictures highlighting the findings of our pavement assessments are provided. This information provides a valuable inventory of the pavement.

Budgets / Financial Planning

Long- and short-term budgets are generated based on the findings of our pavement assessments. A life cycle cost analysis can be prvoded to review options with associated costs and life expectancy. The goals and strategies of your real estate portfolio are then taken into consideration to develop a pavement management plan. Whether we are looking at a one off project or a multi-year plan over several properties, we can recommend the proper maintenance and construction plans accordingly.
